Luke 23:32-46
Last words make lasting impression, what's important to the person, shows whether the person is ready to meet their maker.
*What do you think your last words will be?
1. Words of Forgiveness (v34)
v35-36: the people were apathetic, indifferent, sneered, hurled at Jesus, but Jesus still forgave them because He loves them.
[Matthew 26:53-54] : Jesus could have retaliate, but He chose not to
The use of 'if' shows that the people know there's possibility that Jesus is Son of God, the Messiah - they know it in their head, but not in the heart.
Put the 'if' in our hearts with faith, otherwise it will remain as it is.
[John 8:51]
2. Words of Assurance (v43)
Shows the sacrificial love of God in our lives.
When Jesus said ' I tell you the truth...', means sit up and listen
Whatever situation we are in, Jesus has words of assurance for us

*Are you listening when Jesus is speaking?
3. Words of Blessedness (v46)
All of God's goodness, power, etc. are there as Jesus had removed all obstacles between God and us.
[Ephesians 1:18-20]
The power that sent Jesus to the cross, grave and made Him alive is the same power we are experiencing now.
