Vday Special - My Single Identity Baggage
What's in your luggage?
The factors of my identity that should matter most to me — and a future spouse — are those that center around my relationship with Christ.
I have been justified (Rom. 5:1), I have been bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:19-20), I have been redeemed (Col. 1:14), I have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16), Christ lives in me (Col. 1:27).
If there is any value in my identity baggage, it is in those things that are bearing fruit. Each of those bags is on loan from God. In a year or ten, some of them will be gone, replaced by new ones. And only the Lord knows what those will be.
So what are we carrying with us now? Are they the things that are going to last? Let's build ourselves in Christ strong first b4 we pull another person, who has yet grown s/himself strong in the Lord, into the picture!
Let's Seek, Bless, Serve & Spread
and remember God says, 'Maker, Ministry, Mate'!
For at that point of time, God shall lead us to the right person as we faithfully walk with Him all these time. xD

Sharing our One Love during this 'Love is in the Air' w Roses
We will be doing a 'Love is the Air' express blessing coming FRI in school.
--> It is a time for our CG to go out there in SIM campus in pairs (taking different levels or corners) to spread love and bless the students in this V day season!
--> It is also a good opportunity for us to be daring to do sth in the campus to bless others as well as proclaiming the Gift of Love that we have received from Christ!
How are we going abt doing this?
--> We will be making roses! (first learning how to make roses from Ping, Ning and Shawn)
--> Then in pairs to all parts of the campus to give the roses, and teach the students how to make rose to give to their loved one in this season of love.
--> Finally also sharing with them that, we want to share this gift of love to bless you becos we have first known the Greatest Gift of God's Love!
Simple? As simple as ABC & 123~~ xD
Where do we start from here?
--> Ping, Ning and Shawn, what do we need for materials to make the roses? We should be making like 40 of them.
--> Come prepared for this exciting express blessing on Fri @ 10am! We will be doing some preparation work (spiritual and physical) first. Meet at the gate linking to NA @ 10am sharp. Those who have classes in the morn can join after that.

As we come to know Jesus, we seek bless serve spread.
Seek God n His Righteousness,
Bless the ppl ard us (our spiritual family, physical family, friends, the community who doesnt know God yet),
Serve in the Kingdom of God as if serving God,
Spread the love of Christ for He loves the world, not just the selfish us!
So lets also take this opportunity to do sth for God in our campus yea?
I want to know your response and interest in this Love Express. Do tag the board or this entry with ur response k xD

Are You Exhausted Spiritually?“The everlasting God … neither faints nor is weary” (Isaiah 40:28).
Exhaustion means that our vital energies are completely worn out and spent. Spiritual exhaustion is never the result of sin, but of service. Whether or not you experience exhaustion will depend on where you get your supplies. Jesus said to Peter, “Feed My sheep,” but He gave him nothing with which to feed them (John 21:17). The process of being made broken bread and poured-out wine means that you have to be the nourishment for other people’s souls until they learn to feed on God. They must drain you completely —to the very last drop. But be careful to replenish your supply, or you will quickly be utterly exhausted. Until others learn to draw on the life of the Lord Jesus directly, they will have to draw on His life through you. You must literally be their source of supply, until they learn to take their nourishment from God. We owe it to God to be our best for His lambs and sheep, as well as for Him.
Have you delivered yourself over to exhaustion because of the way you have been serving God? If so, then renew and rekindle your desires and affections. Examine your reasons for service. Is your source based on your own understanding or is it grounded on the redemption of Jesus Christ? Continually look back to the foundation of your love and affection and remember where your Source of power lies. You have no right to complain, “O Lord, I am so exhausted.” He saved and sanctified you to exhaust you. Be exhausted for God, but remember that He is your supply. “All my springs are in you” (Psalm 87:7).

Hey Hey everybody!
Remember the story about the 2 farmers? Both prayed for the rain. But the one that has faith, is the one that goes out to prepare the field.
Let's not only be people who hears and learns of the Word. We must also be do-ers of the Word!
Here's a memory verse for you. 1 Thess 5:17 - "Pray continually". HAHA. Remember okay!
Let's work hard to cultivate our prayer life! =))
Remember the short trailer??
In context, why we hold cg, fellowship, sow on our friends etc. (We are not carebears, neither are we in lalaland. haha!!)
Aim to be Kingdom-minded.
Building ourselves up starts right NOW.
With God, we can be AND must be victorious children of God!
