“Being God's Best”

Looking at :1 Timothy 4:12,15-16
*Romans 7:19-20

God is not giving us a standard we cannot attain
Know the difference between Grace and Leniency
Grace: By sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us
Leniency: God forgive us even when we didn’t meet the mark
God shown us grace, how should we respond to such grace?
1Corinthians 15:10, 2 Corinthians 5:21,6:1
If we truly understand the word grace, are we living our lives according to it?
*Hebrews 10:27

1) Be diligent (v15a)
“Be diligent in these matters”
*Phillippians 2:12-13
Diligence in cultivating your heart
“Diligence is the mother of good luck”-Benjamin Franklin

2) Be wholehearted (v15b)
“give yourself wholly to them”
Lead a holy life wholeheartedly

3) Be consistent (v16a)
“Watch your life and doctrine closely”
Do you know your doctrine? Or are you ignorant?
Hard work is required to store God’s words in our hearts
Being spiritual don’t come by chance!

4) Be persevering (v16b)
“Persevere in them”
