A pastor went out one Saturday to visit his church members. At one house, it was obvious that someone was home, but nobody came to the door even though the preacher knocked several times. Finally, the preacher took out his card, wrote out "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it, and stuck it in the door.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. - Revelation 3:20
The next day, the card turned up in the collection plate. Below the preacher's message was written the following notation:
I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. - Genesis 3:10

Together with shina, ah cong, alex, jy, we came in 2nd placing out of 20 teams who participated in City Venture 2008. it was really unexpected because for the first day we were in 3rd position. our last part of the game, we did not earn a lot of money. so when they announce that 3rd price wasn't us, we felt a bit disappointed. haha..so when they called out the 2nd price, we were totally shocked! hahah! Praise God!
How to blog?
The game was not exactly like amazing race, because we need to do investment at every station and ultimately the team with the most money will win. Thus for every station we're suppose to pick a card to sell or buy our assets.
Many believe in luck and if they are heng enough they will get the lowest buying price and selling it at the highest price. However to me, luck dont exist. i know that our God is in work. because my prayers were answered! before setting out, i prayed for a few things,
1. To know shina better
2. To break the ice between all of us
3. To win the Game
in many occasion, God's work was really evident, even cong and shina had to say that things that happened was a blessing in disguise!
if luck really exist then we have bring down the fact that God has everything in plan.
thus since we are God lovers, lets be aware that whatever luck or coincidences out there are still incidences that God has placed in our lives.
i'll share more juicy happenings during CG!!

Christmas is just about slightly more than one month away. Very soon, we will all be shopping gifts for our loved ones. Maybe we could really contribute as a CG, and make another child's Christmas joyous, one filled with warmth and care (like we care for each other).
Being a (still schooling) child sponsor, what I can contribute is really limited. But when we come together as a group, think we can do so much more!

A kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's artwork.
As she came to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing the girl replied,. . . . "They will in a minute."

WOOHOO!! Tangerine Tan is blogging..
Let me start the ball rolling to start this going..
Yesterday ( 7 November 2008) during CG, some of us were sharing about our week.. How God worked in our lives? How God walk with us during our preparation of exams?
If you didnt share and you wanna share, this blog can be a platform for you!
The highlight of my week was my Thailand colleague cum friend came to Singapore on Wednesday. I was super excited to see her. The first and the last time I saw her was four months ago. It's really very amazing how our friendship developed. We saw each other once and the rest of the months, we keep in contact via facebook and msn. Really thank God for this friendship and His plan to put me in this company (though sometimes I grumbled why must I be here). But if not of His plan, I would not have made so many international friends.
Alrighty.. have a GREAT WEEK AHEAD!!!

Hey peepesss!!!! coming Sat there is a GAP (Gather and Pray) district meeting, which is incorporated with a Healing workshop by Peter Throng!
(Peter Throng is one of the most influential leader in our Hope International movement! If i'm not wrong he is a prophet as well! So, dont hesitate u've got to really come!!)
Below is the programme flow on that day itself. The venue is also stated below with the map attached. Lets meet to go together as well ya..
Really want to urge you guys, come with a heart and desire of wanting to meet God, experience God and learn. A heart and desire of wanting to MEET GOD, EXPERIENCE HIM and LEARN.
